Yes, you can change your booking any time up to the end of your booking. Cancellation charges may apply as per our Pricing and Fees Schedule. Please note that excessive cancellations may see your membership status reviewed.
Yes, as long as you adhere to our Membership Terms of Use and Policies you are welcome to take passengers with you.
No, you don't use a key to access the vehicle. Once you have started your booking on your mobile device via our app, you can unlock and lock the vehicle as many times as you need to during your booking.
No, you don't need to recharge the vehicle, unless you are unable to get back to the car's base before running out of energy.

You can become a member of GoTo Car Share if you are aged 21 or over, with a full valid driver license. Your first step is to create a Membership Account, either as an individual or a business/organisation.
As an Individual member your account and driver details are processed in one step, and you will receive confirmation and login details within 24 hours.
If you are joining as a Business or Organisation - with multiple drivers - your account is processed and we then provide a unique sign-up link for you and your additional drivers. Confirmation and login details will be sent to each driver when they complete their sign-up.
We encourage you to arrange a time for an induction before your first trip.
To book a GoTo car you can login to our Fleetster web portal or use the Fleetster smartphone apps from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store
Bookings are started and stopped via the smartphone apps, from a device with a live internet connection.
To use your GoTo car booking you login to your Fleetster smartphone app, select your upcoming booking and start the Booking.
You can drive as far as you like, but your total trip allowance included in our fees is 200 km per booking. Any additional kilometres are charged at our excess km rate as per our Pricing and Fees Schedule.
Your booking price will be calculated from a base hourly rate for the vehicle you have chosen, capped for certain time periods and times of the day. You will always get the best rate based on the period of your booking.
We monitor bookings to ensure that the car you booked is available for you when you arrive. If for any reason we are unable to provide your booked vehicle we will move your booking to another vehicle if one is available and let you know.
All GoTo drivers are covered by our comprehensive insurance policy.

If you damage your vehicle during your booking and it is still safe to drive, please ensure you report this on the App at the end of your booking.
If your vehicle is not safe to drive or you need assistance please contact us immediately and we will assist.
In order to keep things really simple when you need to use a car, we've included everything in the price you pay for your trip. There are a few exceptions which you can read about in our Membership Terms of Use and our Pricing And Fees Schedule, but we do include the following:
At our GoTo Car Share base, located at 148 Durham Street, Tauranga.
You will find our cars in designated parks behind the Basestation building. Access is available from the laneway off Elizabeth Street or Grey Street.
Should you need to recharge the car during your booking you can charge at any location. Our cars are equipped with home charging cables, AC fast charging cables and a ChargeNet fob key to access any AC or DC public charger on their network.

If the vehicle you are driving incurs any fine during your booking, this will be charged to your account as per our Membership Terms of Use and Pricing and Charges Schedule.
